In April 2018, OPGI attended the 31st Annual Seal Beach Classic Car Show. Each year over 500 classic car owners come to show off their rides to the nearly 25,000 visitors that attend the show. Original Parts Group Inc. had a nice set-up right on the corner of Main and Electric Avenue, showcasing four of their cleanest black rides. OPGI customer Jimmy Smith of Weogufka, AL recently sent us a few of photos of his 1972 Monte Carlo. Jimmy is the car’s second owner, having purchased the Monte in 1975. Technically, Jimmy’s car is a Monte Carlo Custom – the Custom being a one-year-only model. It was ordered with the 454 4-bbl., TH400 tranny, bucket seats, console, Rally Wheels, and all other factory options except cruise control and power windows.
