Spring Summer Series: Pontiac Show

Original Parts Group held the second show of their Spring Summer Series on June 9th with an all-Pontiac Show. With an awesome, fully-restored 1968 GTO of their own, and a deep love of the Arrowhead brand in general, OPGI was loving on all that cruised into the show bright and early.  There were a bunch of beautiful GTOs, a slick Catalina on bags, a nice custom Gasser, some classic looking Bonnevilles and so many more sweet rides. Cassie Nunes is a young lady who has been wrenchin’ in the garage with her dad Ernie since she was able to wrap her fingers around a wrench. She recalls that it was never a chore but…

Inspirational Interiors

When it comes to restoring a classic GM muscle car, most enthusiasts know that you’re not really finished with the job until your interior looks as good as the exterior does. There aren’t many aspects of car restoration that are more satisfying than returning a worn-out interior to its original factory fresh appearance. The Pilot Chevelle Story

Back in November at the most recent SEMA Show, we learned something new about Chevelles. It was at the Show that our staff discovered Dave Harter’s ’70 Chevelle SS and learned of its’ history as a General Motors Pilot Car, built for pre-production testing, product development and promotional purposes, and never intended to be sold to the public. Apparently all Pilot Cars were supposed to be crushed when their testing and development lives were over. Pilot Cars were hand-built, non-numbers-matching…
