Original Parts Group, Inc. once again hosted its annual free Classic Car Show at the OPGI headquarters in Seal Beach, California on Saturday, April 11th. The April weather cooperated and delivered yet another perfect day of Southern California sunshine for the show that seems to get better with each passing year as OPGI continues to present great classic cars in a fun and family-friendly, seaside location. Nearly 200 classic cars and a variety of restoration and aftermarket accessory vendor displays helped create the perfect backdrop for an automotive-themed day of fun in the sun. The Seal Beach Lions Club was on hand to serve both breakfast and lunch and a film crew from the Lokar Car Show on the Velocity Channel documented all of the action for television broadcast.

The car show participants and attendees got a chance to qualify for over 105 valuable prize drawing giveaways from OPGI and our most popular vendors and clubs. Although the most coveted prizes were over a dozen OPGI Gift Certificates (in $1000, $200 and $100 denominations!) and a 350 HO Deluxe Crate engine from General Motors, many other great prizes were also donated by Wilwood, Vintage Air, Clay Smith, Taylor, Flowmaster, TMI, Art Carr, Edelbrock, Mothers, Distinctive Industries, Classic LED, R-Blox, Dynamat, American Autowire, Ken Harrison, MSD, Painless Performance, ARP, Powermaster, CPP, Hedman Headers, Sean Murphy Induction, PUI, Gear Heads, Hellwig, Prothane, Surf City Garage, GT Performance, Lucas Oil, Black Widow Exhaust, ACC, Hotchkis, Crusin’ for a Cure, Jr Glass, and TMI.

For the first time, this year the OPGI Car Show also benefitted the ‘Wounded Warrior Project’ (The ‘Wounded Warrior Project’ name is used with permission and more information can be found at www.woundedwarriorproject.org or by calling the organization at 877-832-6997).

Original Parts Group would like to thank everyone who came out to the show this year, including the public, the car owners and the generous vendors and organizations who donated so many great prizes for a great cause. Be sure to check out the photos shown here and on OPGI’s Facebook page and remember to mark early April in your 2016 calendar as a reminder for next year’s event.
