Factory documentation for Chevelles, Novas and Camaros

Compared to the owners of “other” brands of classic American muscle cars, Chevrolet enthusiasts have been at a disadvantage when it comes to obtaining their cars’ documentation records. While Mopar and Ford fans have often been able to get detailed information on the build history and original factory options on their cars from the manufacturer or a third-party source, the build records for a great many Chevrolets from the 60’s and 70’s simply no longer exist or just can’t be…

Future Collectibles from The 80s?

Although most people are very familiar with classic cars from the 50s, 60s and 70s, classic cars from the 80s have not seen a lot of interest. Yet. That situation may be changing though, as certain vehicles from the 80s are now beginning to be seen as collectible items of pop culture and history. Some of them are pretty decent cars too. A Higher Purpose for GM Waste

John Bradburn is General Motors’ (GM) manager of waste reduction efforts, an unusual position within the giant automaker that tasks him with finding new ways to use spent industrial materials to benefit the environment. Are you ready for V2V?

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recently said that a national “vehicle-to-vehicle system" (V2V) mandate could come within the next couple of years. The NHTSA also says it could require automakers to implement V2V technology in those same few years. Car enthusiasts might be tempted to wonder if this a threat or a promise considering the large number of people in this country who actually enjoy having the responsibility and skill (not to…

The Malibu used body-on-frame construction and in the beginning was powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six…
