Original Parts Group attended the 2022 SEMA show this past week, exhibiting in our well-known double-decker booth in Central Hall. While we celebrate our return to the premier tradeshow showcasing our new products, two fully restored classics, and two very special guest appearances, OPGI also celebrates 40 years in the restoration business this year.
Since 1982, OPGI has been producing exceptional quality restoration parts. Offering the widest selection of everything from interior parts to engine parts, sheet metal, moldings and trim, and everything in between, our manufactured line numbers are in the thousands. Impossible to display all, check out the RESTOPARTS® that we could fit plus more from the show.

NEW PRODUCT
The demand for precise quality reproductions continues to grow, and the RESTOPARTS® brand proudly answers the demand with newly manufactured products. Here are just a few of the latest products added to the RESTOPARTS® line.
OPGI parts have been featured on numerous award-winning vehicles and TV shows, such as Detroit Muscle and Car Fix, and have become the first choice for many of the nation’s top automotive builders, including master automobile designer, Chip Foose. With 170 completed cars under his belt and a legacy of designs, partnering with Chip on his 1970 Chevelle was never a question and we were honored to display it in our booth.

The Chevelle remained covered in the booth while a line of fans formed for a meet and greet and Power Automedia prepared to film the unveiling for those who missed it including those who were wrapped around the booth. Check out the unveiling in the video below.

SPECIAL APPEARANCES
OPGI, Chip Foose, and Courtney Hansen go way back to a special pilot episode of the hit show Overhaulin’ that featured OPGI employee Jeff Miller’s ’71 Chevelle. So when working on new projects with the duo separately we invited them to catch up at our booth, talk about their builds, and more importantly hang with their fans.
THE SHOW
OPGI was not the only one with a special unveiling. Magnaflow killed it with comedic legend and car enthusiast Kevin Hart’s emotional first-time unveil of his latest build, an ’87 Grand National aka “The Dark Knight” designed by Dave Salvaggio.
This jaw-dropping Detroit Speed-built 1965 Buick Riviera was displayed in the Holley Performance booth. A head turner for sure, check out the other cars that grabbed our attention at the show in the gallery below.
We hope you enjoyed our recap of SEMA 2022. Make sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for more blog features, car posts, and OPGI promos!
How do none business owners attend the SEMA show??
Hello,
Unfortunately, it is not open to the general public and is a trade-only event. To get into SEMA, you must work in the specialty-equipment industry and you need documentation that proves you’re in the industry.
