Since everyone has been stuck at home, what better time to get to work on that project car you have been putting off? We went on social media and asked our followers to share what they were working on. Check out some of the projects below!
@all4speed
One of our favorite Instagram accounts @all4speed is the home page to a very nice, finished ’69 Chevelle aka Malibeast. Recently its “sibling” a 1964 project Chevelle has made several appearances on the account. @all4speed endearingly refers to the ’64 as “Malibeater” and is even the process of creating a custom emblem for the car reflecting the nickname.
@juliosfullrestorationshop
For the guys over at Julios Full Restoration Shop in Lynwood California, it’s business as usual for the most part, as restoring cars is what they do for a living. They have been working on several different cars including a 1970 Olds 4-4-2, and 1987 El Camino and a 1966 Chevelle all of which have a little OPGI on them.
@craftys_69_chevelle
Over on @craftys_69_chevelle account, the owner is working on a (you guessed it) 69 Chevelle. Based on our Instagram stalking skills, the project seems to have started back a couple of months ago when a photo of the Chevelle was first posted. Since then the Chevelle has gotten a lot of work done including pulling the whole front end off, wiring, and much more. We are excited to watch the progress of this 454 big block.
@moto_loon
The owner of IG account @moto_loon has kept OPGI in the loop of its ’67 Riviera project even before quarantine started. This Rivera is stocked with parts from OPGI including seats & seatbelts, dash, door panels, rearview mirror, front end parts, and wiring harnesses.
