
At the end of January, the team at Original Parts Group Inc. had the opportunity to attend the 76th Annual Grand National Roadster Show at the Pomona Fairplex. As one of the most prestigious hot rod and custom car shows in the country, this event brings together the best of the best in the automotive world. OPGI was proud to be part of the action, showcasing an amazing build from one of our customers and taking in some of the most stunning classic cars around.
Memo Williams’ 1987 GNX at the OPGI Booth The highlight of our display was OPGI customer Memo Williams’ immaculate 1987 Buick GNX. This turbocharged beast was a showstopper, drawing plenty of admiration from attendees. Memo’s passion for the Grand National platform is evident in every detail of his build. Beyond our booth, we had the pleasure of seeing some truly beautiful builds throughout the show. Here are just a few of the standouts:
Classic Chevelles Stealing the Spotlight
This 1964 Chevelle turned heads with its clean lines and aggressive stance.

Outside the venue, this silver 1971 Chevelle gleamed under the California sun.

Another 1971 Chevelle, this one in a deep sapphire blue, stood as a testament to the enduring appeal of GM’s A-body design.

This metallic blue 1969 Chevelle with SS stripes showcased a perfect blend of performance and style.

This 1969 Chevelle radiated pure muscle car energy, drawing plenty of admiration.

Another 1969 Chevelle over at the TMI booth had a modern touch with a finely crafted interior, proving that classic muscle can also be luxurious.


A stunning 1965 Chevelle in Evening Orchid, a truly unique color that made it stand out from the crowd.

A sinister-looking all-black 1967 Chevelle gave off an intimidating presence, embodying that perfect balance of sleek and menacing.

A striking gold 1971 Chevelle caught our eye, a perfect nod to the bold styling of the muscle car era.

A deep copper 1969 Chevelle demanded attention, its vibrant paint job impossible to ignore.

A bright red 1972 Chevelle wrapped up the Chevelle showcase, proving that the second-gen models still hold a special place in the hearts of muscle car fans.

One of the more unique builds we came across was a 1967 Chevelle wagon in fire engine red, a rare sight that demonstrated just how versatile these cars can be.


A Showcase of Riviera and Grand Prix Excellence
Over at Gary’s Rods and Restoration’s booth, a breathtaking 1962 Grand Prix sat proudly on display. This Pontiac’s classic styling and attention to detail made it one of the show’s true gems.

A gold 1963 Riviera lowrider stood as a masterclass in classic customization, showcasing intricate detailing and a stunning stance.

A very cool 1966 Riviera, lowered for the perfect stance, embodied the sleek and sophisticated look that makes these Buicks so desirable.

A deep red 1965 Riviera stood out with its timeless elegance.

Unique Builds That Caught Our Eye
An emerald Cadillac Eldorado with some unique add-ons pushed the boundaries of classic customization, merging old-school style with modern creativity.

A raw metal custom rod demonstrated how aged finishes can create a look that’s both rugged and refined, proving that every car has a story to tell.



The Grand National Roadster Show never disappoints, and this year was no exception. From the jaw-dropping Chevelles to the elegantly customized Rivieras and Grand Prix, the variety of classic cars on display was nothing short of spectacular. OPGI is honored to be part of such an incredible community of car enthusiasts, and we can’t wait for the next event.
