Finding OPGI cover cars for our 11 annual catalogs can be a tricky task, but when we stumbled across this 1972 Monte Carlo in our news feed we were in awe and knew what needed to be done. The video below, posted on Instagram by OPGI customer Scott Nardozzi caught our attention so we connected with him to see if he’d be interested in having his 1972 Monte Carlo on our 2022 catalog. Scott was interested, and provided quite the back story on his ride!
Back Story
The Monte Carlo was purchased brand new by Scott’s Grandfather at the end of 1971, and in 1984 it was passed on to Scott’s father. By the age of 14, Scott learned how to drive in the Monte Carlo, and shortly after it became his.
So many amazing memories were made while driving around in the car with his Grandfather, to driving around in it now and Scott loves telling those stories. The Monte had been loved, garaged, and cherished since new and with 70,000 family-driven miles is now about to be passed onto the 4th generation of firstborn sons, Scott’s nephew Liam whose name is already on the vanity plates.
