First Generation Monte Carlo Club’s Western Meet

Every year the First Generation Monte Carlo Club rallies all of the members to get together for an annual cruise and meet. This year’s turnout was exceptional with over 30 members and 29 cars. Special thanks to the Western Meet Coordinator Aaron Dodsworth, for not only coordinating the event but documenting it with great some photos.Ā  Take a look at some photos from this year’s western meet below!

“This year’s Western Meet was fantastic. We had 31 members and 29 Monte Carlos in attendance which is a new Western Meet record. Thanks to everyone who attended to make this a great meet. One cool statistic was that we had three father/son combinations that each brought their own Monte Carlo. We did a cruise on Thursday with stops at a viewpoint, picnic lunch at the beach, some cider tasting and ice cream. Friday was the wine cruise that included several winery stops with amazing views. Saturday was the big Peach City Beach Cruise car show with lots to see and do. Sunday was the Peach City Beach Cruise awards with the FGMCC banquet later that evening. During the weekend we had the entire hotel to ourselves and certainly made the most of it. We had such a great time catching up with our FGMCC family and welcoming new members to the meet experience. I have trouble putting into words how fun these meets are. The cars are what bring us together but it is really about the people.”
