Original Parts Group, Inc. (OPGI) is once again preparing to attend the annual Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show held each November in Las Vegas, Nevada. Celebrating over 35 years of manufacturing and retailing GM restoration parts and accessories, as well as several decades as a displaying manufacturer at the SEMA Show, OPGI will mark this year’s attendance with an all-new, upgraded presence for 2017. Working with Flair Exhibits & Displays on the 2017 booth, OPGI decided that the all-new design will reflect the company’s 2017 restoration parts campaign “Let’s Do This” and lend the booth a fitting “garage” type theme.
As the premier retailer and manufacturer of General Motors (GM) restoration parts, OPGI returns to the Show with the most popular classic GM car parts, including dozens of entries specifically engineered to meet the growing demands of the automotive restoration market. New entries will include high-demand interior and exterior components as well as a selection of new, factory-accurate reproduction parts that vintage GM enthusiasts have been asking for.
The display is designed to highlight both new products and existing inventory inside OPGI’s popular Restoration and High-Performance Parts and Accessories catalogs that cover every part needed to restore a classic Chevelle, El Camino, Monte Carlo, Skylark, Riviera, Cutlass, GTO, Grand Prix, Bonneville, Catalina, Cadillac or Buick Regal.
As a result, OPGI’s new, two-story display booth will include two new seventeen foot wide garage/bay doors and an upper deck that has been expanded to include two meeting rooms along with two sets of stairs. Within the garage areas, OPGI will have new and existing products on display along with a low mileage, all original 1987 Buick Grand National. There will also be a 1970 SS396 Chevelle in the booth that will eventually be awarded to one lucky winner as the grand prize in a Dream Giveaway contest. The expanded show booth will allow more space for the OPGI Team to meet with its business partners in a comfortable setting within the otherwise hectic main show floor area.
If you are attending the SEMA Show, you can’t miss the large oval OPGI logo sign rotating over the front of booth number 23987 located prominently in the Central Hall. In addition to the aforementioned cars and new products, come on by and meet Velocity TV hosts Lou Santiago and Jared Zimmerman of “Car Fix” as well as Cristy Lee of “All Girls Garage”. We’ll look forward to seeing you there!
Below are some photos that show the progress of the booth.
Can someone make lower quarter patch panels for 70-72 gto lemans ect. Many of us do not need
Full quarters… You would sell a ton of these….
Thomas,
Thank you for contacting OPGI with your inquiry. OPGI is not the manufacturer of stamped sheet metal, so you may want to reach out to the suppliers of the restoration industry as to why these are not being offered. Goodmark, GT and Dynacorn would be good places to start, not only do they stamp the panels they also distribute other brands.
Thank you for your question.
